We're Home, Serial Completion, and a Fitting Closing Song
Hello, all:
Well, good news: as an update from my last1, we are home again with everybody safe and as well as can be hoped for, having received wonderful care. As proof, behold Winston the triceratops, chaser of bad dreams, once again on rest at home:
In other and even happier news, we are fairly near the path of totality of the upcoming solar eclipse, as it happens, and we are exploring possibilities as to be able to see it on the appointed day. If we can, I’ll be sure to mention it next week. After all, a total solar eclipse within an hour or so of one’s hometown is not a thing to be missed (not to mention a perfect time to attack the Fire Nation, am I right, fellow Avatar: the Last Airbender fans? )

Writing Update
The primary update here is that I have completed my current serial: Quarks of the Heart! I’ll write a debrief post tomorrow, and after that there will likely be a short pause in the weekly Sunday episodes as I consider ideas for the next one. Suggestions welcome! Also, if you have any thoughts/comments/etc. on the just-completed serial, please let me know!

I'm jealous of everyone who lives close enough to the path to get to see the eclipse. Maybe one year, I'll be within driving distance.
