Man, I am so sorry--this is unfathomably scary and you have presented it here with the forthright simplicity of someone with a joyful spirit and who has conquered it by living through it. God bless and keep you safe and healthy, and thank you for sharing your story with us! I know I could certainly afford to bear my crosses a little better, and I'm grateful for your example 🙏

I appreciate it, my friend; believe me, there were times when my joyful spirit was anything but. :) (At least, I think there were; did I mention the memory gaps? ) I kid, of course; it was a rough go, it really was, and I owe so much to the docs and to my friends and family, particularly my wife and my daughter. And let me tell you, that first time when one makes it back to Mass (this was before COVID)... oh, man, that was something.

Sometimes we joke about how our life is like a country western song; we were actually been in the same city as Garth Brooks the same day that some cattle randomly broke loose. True story; that happened before all this, in Lexington, Kentucky. Maybe he put a curse on me because of the delay. Who knows? 🤷‍♂️

Yikes. That is scary, but I'm glad you made it through and the seizures are under control.
